  • You may only start campaigning after your election petition + packet has been certified and you have gotten explicit permission from the ASG Speaker.

  • No, you may not distribute food or merchandise in order to secure votes or petition signatures.

  • There are so many options in this situation, we would love to have you with us!

    1. Run in the next election. ASG holds elections in the beginning of fall, end of spring, and frequently hosts Special Elections throughout the year. Check our website and social medias for updates on this!

    2. Apply to be an At-Large member on a committee! Reach out to asgspeaker@miamioh.edu to hear about opportunities to join various ASG Committees as an At-large member.

    3. Be an Alternate for ASG Senate sessions. Email asgprotempore@miamioh.edu to fill in for absent senators on Tuesday’s from 6pm-8pm.
